THE FIFTEENTH PHASE OF THE MOON U.S.A. Independent Cinema - Shorts

The festival once again presents new works from the Discovery Program, a project for emerging filmmakers. All films are productions of Chanticleer Films. A secret long-distance love affair forces a small town waitress to re-evaluate her life and marriage in Mark Krenzien’s The Letters From Moab. In Martin Nicholson’s Missing Parents, a punked-out teenager returns from school one day to discover that his parents have run away from home. A meeting with a kindred spirit inspires a young Latina artist to assert her independence from a domineering father in Mark Amos Nealey’s The Fifteenth Phase of the Moon. -Pearl Fisher
