DEKALOG 10 The Decalogue

In the final work in the Decalogue series, Kieslowski breaks into full comedy for an examination of the Commandment, “Thou Shalt Not Covet Thy Neighbor’s Goods.” Arthur (Zbigniew Zamachowski) is a Polish punk rock star. His older brother Jerzy (Jerzy Stuhr) has nothing in common with him. Neither has much contact with their father, but when he dies they realize the old pennypincher was the owner of the most valuable stamp collection in Poland . Their sudden wealth leads the two gullible men into a world of treachery and paranoia. (57 min.)
