NO EASY WAY New at Press Time

Matthew Livingston has AIDS. Thirty-something and resigned to death, he plays the once-beloved piano only to eke out a living at a local hotel. He shuns all human contact until one day Diana Campbell, a struggling mother of two sons, makes her way insistently into his life. Though they are from vastly different backgrounds, they come to understand one another in the midst of their common loneliness-and, to fall in love. Through the process of helping Diana to create a better life, Matthew comes to find peace and his own humanity in the face of his suffering.
