BRIDE OF WAR European Film Showcase

Based on a true story of love and bravery in war-ravaged Europe,
this heart-wrenching film was shot entirely in Poland. It skillfully
combines the intensity of combat with the joy and heartache of
young romance.
A headstrong soldier is captured and sent to a prisoner-of-war
camp in Poland. Young and fearless, he escapes again and again,
only to be recaptured each time. A meeting with a beautiful
Polish girl leads to love, but their happiness is overshadowed by
the turmoil of war.
