THE SWINDLE Official Competition

Betty and Victor, a rather ill-matched couple, tour unobtrusively
around France in their motor-home, earning their living as petty
con artists, until one day they find themselves involved in an
international money scam which takes them far from France to
the West Indies and finally to Switzerland.
Working as a team, Betty seduces businessmen, then plies them
with liquor and sleeping pills, at which point Victor robs them,
leaving enough cash so that none realize that he has been
duped. It all appears to be under control until one final scam
puts their lives on the line.
For over a year Betty has been plotting, without Victor’s
knowledge, what could prove to be their biggest and most
profitable swindle yet. She arranges to travel to their next
destination a week ahead of Victor in order to set up her plan.
Unsuspecting and with an agenda of his own, Victor only learns
of Betty’s greater ambitions, not to mention her secret
relationship with Maurice, when he arrives in St. Moritz. Soon
the couple find themselves deeply involved in a complex web of
greed and power, in a scandal of international proportions.
