GREED Classic Film Retrospective

TCM presents the LA premiere of the newly restored version of the legendary classic film GREED. It is one of the most celebrated and critically acclaimed masterpieces in cinema history. Considered a triumph of film restoration, Rick Schmidlin has painstakingly restored what is reffered to as the Holy Grail of cinema. Following the great director’s original instructions, with newly added photos frames have been electronically painted to recreate von Stroheim’s brilliant vision. In addition, this new print features a magnificent, new score.
