HIS WIFE’S DIARY (DNEVNIK YEVO ZHENY) International Competition

Nobel laureate Ivan Bunin fled Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution and holed up at a seaside villa with his wife, his young lover and an inspiring poetess.

Depicting a tumultuous range of emotions, HIS WIFE’S DIARY is a glimpse into the intricate private life of iconic Russian writer Bunin. Immersed in wealth and love, Bunin lives with his wife, his lover and the woman who steals his lover from him. In an attempt to express the usually hidden side of Bunin, this telling film reveals him in all his human manifestations, torn by passions and agony.
