DIRT BOY American Directions

DIRT BOY is a remarkable feature debut for director Jay Frasco. With limited resources and young unknown actors, Frasco has turned his attention to the strong story and beautiful cinematography, creating a stunning low budget film that is alive with intelligence and talent waiting to be discovered.

DIRT BOY is the story of Matty Matthews, a recovering drug addict saddened by the loss of his mother who was killed in a horrible accident. Matty, now sober and intrigued by crime scene investigating, decides to attend a seminar in Atwater Commons, home of the famed Atwater Bridges, author of the mystery Dirt Boy. In this quiet town, behind the white picket fence, is a sinister secret· that Matty slowly unravels with the aid of the book-on-tape series of Dirt Boy and a surviving victim of the Dirt Boy killer.

DIRT BOY is both suspenseful and incredibly captivating. This is a truly independent film helmed by a young director with great potential.
