ANGEL EXIT (ANDEL EXIT) International Competition

From the director of AMERIKA comes ANGEL EXIT, a hybrid of materials and genres, mating and clashing, resulting in a visually emotional and artistic tour de force.

Set in Prague, this is a drug story about a bloody bond. It is also a horror story about the missing fifth element, a love story and a hallucinatory vision that holds as much truth as sober reflection. The story begins the day before Christmas, when the neighborhood’s Baby Jesus is stolen. When Mikes meets Jana, they fall in love. But Mikes is engaged in a prior affair-and his mistress is the search for and perfection of the immaculate drug moment. Awaiting the Messiah in this forsaken place may be an oxymoron. However, after experiencing the performances, the sounds, the odors and the visuals of ANGEL EXIT, you might just leave the darkened theatre believing in God.

Aided by powerful cinematography and astonishing performances, director Vladimir Michalek has created an unforgettable film.
