INVISIBLE CHILDREN (LOS NIÑOS INVISIBLES) Latin Cinema Series

Just think if you were a child and you were invisiblethe
world would be yours. Rafael is seven years old
and desperately in love with Martha Cecilia, whom he
wants to see without being noticed. This attraction
motivates Rafael to literally become invisible with his
two partners in crime, Gonzalo and Fernando.
However, the boys find their adventure riskier than
they had anticipated. Following the instructions in a
black magic booklet, Rafael puts a charm around his
neck and feels himself become invisible. Unfortunately,
he also discovers that, in fact, nobody else notices
him, especially Martha Cecilia. He quickly arrives at
the conclusion that invisibility is simply a variation on
insignificance.
Rarely do you see a young actor handle a leading role
with such charm and humor. Actor Gustavo Angarita
does so with maturity well beyond his years. Director
Lisandro Duque Naranjo solicits performances in this
young ensemble that touchingly capture the spirit and
innocence of youth. -Lesly Sakamoto
