BULLET IN THE BRAIN Shorts Competition

There seems to be an overwhelming theme present in our short filmmakers’ collective consciousness-death, dying and what comes next. We selected some of our favorites and put together an eclectic group of films, each with a profoundly unique perspective. BULLET IN THE BRAIN: Based on a short story by Tobias Wolff, a meditation on the interplay between memory and life follows Anders, a writing teacher whose passion for words proves to be his fatal flaw. IT’S A SHAME ABOUT RAY: At 31, Ray drops dead while watering his lawn. Death escorts him to the afterlife, where it is discovered that his records are incomplete. AMERICAN WET DREAM: Boy gets money and vice-versa. ANOTHER BLUE DAY: In Germany, Jorgen and Tascha meet on a bridge. They share the same wish.
