IN BED (EN LA CAMA) Latin Cinema Series

Few films capture the pitfalls of yearning for communication as simply and effectively as Matias Bize’s heartfelt and beautifully crafted IN BED.

The film’s action takes place in one room with two characters, two strangers in bed — loving, betraying and clinging to each other –becoming intimates, finding love and losing it all in only one night. In a cheap motel room, Daniela and Bruno spend one night together. They hardly know each other, having met only a few hours earlier. Memories and dreams, truths and lies, fears and desires, betrayal and honesty all closely entwined in the night. But with the light of the sunrise, this intimacy will already belong to the past.

Impressive and potent, Bize has created an intensely erotic film puncturing the surface of two individuals adrift IN BED. Allowing the performances to simmer and marinate on screen, Bize sets up an authentically satisfying denouement where a one-night stand can change your life.
