Mayye Zayed is an Egyptian filmmaker and a co-founder of Alexandria-based production company Rufy’s Films. After studying Engineering at Alexandria University, she had a Fulbright scholarship to study cinema and media studies at Wellesley College in the U.S. in 2011–2012. She is also an alumna of Berlinale Talents, Documentary Campus Masterschool and USC’s American Film Showcase Documentary program.
