Description

Two-time AFI FEST alum Carlos Reygadas returns with an intensely personal project. OUR TIME tells the story of an upper-middle-class rancher (Reygadas) whose wife (played by Reygadas’ real-life spouse) draws him into a cuckolding fetish. As the emotional stakes rise, life on the idyllic landscape becomes threatened.

Bios

Carlos Reygadas studied law in Mexico and specialized in armed conflict law in London before becoming a filmmaker.  His first feature film JAPîN received a special mention for the Camera d’Or at Cannes in 2002. His films SILENT LIGHT and POST TENEBRAS LUX played AFI FEST 2007 and 2012, respectively. OUR TIME is his fifth feature.
