Val Bodurtha is a comedian whose debut novel—written at seventeen—won the 2017 Young Writer’s Publication Contest. She has since transitioned to film and comedy, placing as a finalist in 2019’s Filmmatic Comedy Awards. Though she has won over two-dozen writing awards, Val’s first love remains stand-up.

Rebecca Shaw is a comedy writer-director currently staffed at THE TONIGHT SHOW. Her written comedy has been featured in numerous publications including McSweeney’s, and she won the short comedy award at the 2018 New York Independent Film Festival. Rebecca graduated from Yale with a degree in people-pleasing.

Sophie Mann is a New York-based writer. Though she started her career in political journalism she has since pivoted to comedy writing and directing (you’re welcome mom & dad). She is a former Wall Street Journal Bartley fellow and has been published in numerous national outlets.
