Following the program, AFI Festivals Programmer Malin Kan leads a conversation between filmmakers Zach Woods (DAVID), Henriette Rietz (POSTPARTUM), Jonatan Etzler (SWIMMER), Bridey Elliot (THE FEELING), Sean Glass (A 1984 PERIOD PIECE IN PRESENT DAY), Jacob Halpren (CLAIRE AT SEVEN MONTHS) and Bridget Moloney (BLOCKS).

An existential comedy about the mother of two young children who begins to spontaneously vomit toy blocks.

Bridget Moloney is a director-writer. Her pilot, “I Was a Teenage Pillow Queen,” premiered at the 2018 Tribeca TV Festival. Her short film BLOCKS premiered at Sundance in 2020. She earned a BA in theatre and creative writing for media at Northwestern, and her master’s in clinical psychology from Pepperdine.
