Description

Following the program, AFI Festivals Programmer Eric Moore leads a conversation between filmmakers Jamil McGinnis and Pat Heywood (GRAMERCY), Helki Frantzen(L.A. ROLL), Carla Simón and Dominga Sotomayor (CORRESPONDENCIA), Santiago Barzi (CHINESE WALL).

Fernando receives some baffling news which upsets him profoundly, but when he shares it with his loved ones, their reactions are not as he expected. An odd debate ensues, affecting everyone involved.

Bio

Santiago Barzi was born in Buenos Aires, in 1998. He currently studies at Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires. His first short film, BETTER ALONE (2019), was part of BAFICI 21. CHINESE WALL was selected to compete at Cinefondation of Cannes 2020.
