LITTLE CHIEF Short Film Competition 2020

LITTLE CHIEF

Following the program, AFI Festivals Programmer Eric Moore leads a conversation between filmmakers Yi Tang (BLACK GOAT), Em Weinstein (IN FRANCE MICHELLE IS A MAN’S NAME), Seungee Kim (TIGER & OX), Erica Tremblay (LITTLE CHIEF), Inès Girihiwe (BREAKING GROUND), Johnson Cheng (LONELY BLUE NIGHT), Kimi Howl Lee (CHILD OF LAND).

It’s just another typical day at a rural elementary school on a reservation in Oklahoma. It’s a world that is stacked against them, but Sharon shows up each day to guide her fifth grade students through it.
