In the Pacific Northwest, incarcerated men and women watch nature videos on loop. BLUE ROOM is a meditation, and a provocation, on the human condition in prison and outside of it.

Bios

Merete Mueller is a documentary director based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work explores relationships to the environment and has screened at SXSW, BFI London Film Festival, Hot Docs and The Brooklyn Museum, and via Netflix, The New York Times Op-Docs series and The New Yorker.
