Sun-starved teenagers take a dreamy trip to the Balearic Islands in the pursuit of light and warmth. They must absorb it and be a vessel in order to transport it back to their heavy clouded kingdom.

Bios

Barcelona, 1997. Christian Avilés is a director, writer and composer. He studied Directing at Escac University. Premiering at Berlinale 2023, LA HERIDA LUMINOSA is his final degree project and first short film – a fictional film in which he delves into themes of teenage spirituality, magic and suicide.
