An exploration of silent struggle and unspoken tension as Hamed, a first-generation Afghan Canadian man, navigates an undefined future with his father. Inspired by David Wojnarowicz’s renowned text.

Bios

Alexander Farah is an Afghan-Canadian filmmaker whose work has screened at Berlinale, Telluride and Clermont-Ferrand Film Festivals. His music video “Meet You at the Light” won the Grand Jury Prize and Audience Choice Award at SXSW 2022. His most recent film ONE DAY THIS KID premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last month.
