Director/writer Luis Galvao Teles skillfully tells this disturbing tale of dark obsession between a father and daughter. A photographer kidnaps his own daughter, Ophelia, in a desperate attempt to win back her mother, who deserted him after a wild love affair. Ophelia (the stunning Maria de Madeiros of Henry and June) grows up believing her mother is dead, but she eventually succeeds in finding her. She attempts to rekindle her parents’ passion to free her father and herself from their mutual incestuous obsession.
