Join us for AFI FEST 2021 in Los Angeles and online! Starting on Oct. 20*, festival attendees can reserve their seats for in-person screenings and pre-order virtual screenings of films and events.
The festival will take place Nov. 10-14. In-person screenings of Features, Documentaries, Shorts and World Premieres will be held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, CA, and virtual screenings of select films followed by captivating Q&As with the filmmakers will be available via FEST.AFI.com.

Please note that all attendees, including passholders, will need to reserve seats in advance in order to attend a screening. Festival attendees can also purchase individual tickets for both our in-person and virtual screenings.

IN-PERSON SCREENING NOTES:
For health and safety precautions, all in-person AFI FEST screenings and events are reserved seating and playing to limited capacity. All pass holders and ticket purchasers must reserve seats in advance in order to attend a screening. Some tickets may be available same day. Please visit the AFI FEST Box Office for availability for same day tickets.
COVID SAFETY POLICY:
All AFI FEST attendees will be required to show proof of full vaccination (14 days after your final dose) against COVID-19 along with a matching photo identification each day you participate at AFI FEST.
Proof of vaccination should include your name, type of COVID-19 vaccine and date of dose administration.
Please note: “fully vaccinated” means more than two (2) weeks has passed since receiving your one dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson /Janssen) or your second dose of mRNA vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna) or other FDA or World Health Organization-approved vaccine (Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm and Covishield)
If you are not able to provide proof of vaccination due to a medical condition or religious belief, you will need to provide a negative PCR-based COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of entry. Antigen tests will not be accepted.
Being unable to provide proof of full vaccination or a recent negative test will result in being denied entry to the event.
Masks required at all times.
VIRTUAL SCREENING NOTES:
Due to restrictions from filmmakers and film distributors, films and events are available for a limited time and with limited capacity – and they can sell out. We strongly recommend selecting or purchasing the films and events you want to attend before the festival begins on November 10.
Once a film you have selected becomes available, you will have 48 hours to start watching. Once you begin, you’ll have 48 hours to finish watching. After you unlock a program, note the amount of time you have to begin and finish watching a particular film.
