THE REFRIGERATOR U.S.A. Independent Cinema - Fiction

Nicholas Jacob’s feature debut is a wacky, highly enter- taining throwback to the Teenage Monster Movies of the 50s and 60s. An innocent young couple move into an apartment in New York which harbors an unruly household appliance: a 1963 Norge refrigerator. Soon it is dispatching house guests to the hereafter while taking over the couple’s minds through a series of hallucinatory dreams. -Martin Blaney, Screen International.
