DEKALOG 3 The Decalogue

Christmas with the family is interrupted by a man’s former lover. Janusz (Daniel Olbrychski) and his family attend Christmas Eve services at their church. He recognizes a lonely woman’s face in the crowd and hides from her. Home again, his enjoyment of the holiday celebrations is interrupted by someone at the doorthe woman from church. Their relationship was apparently passionate, violent, and short-lived. She (Maria Pakulnis) convinces him to accompany her on a desperate all-night search for her missing husband. (57 min.)
