Accused of a crime he did not commit,
young Marcos Gonzalez leaves Mexico
City to hide out with his wealthy Uncle
Ramon in the small town of Muerdago.
There, he becomes involved with his
adventure-seeking cousin-in-law, Amalia,
and her daughter, Lucero. Marcos’ passionate
and impulsive ways soon prove a
threat to the rigid social structure of his
family, culminating in the perpetration of
two crimes.
