RAISING THE ASHES Documentaries

In November 1996, while
Americans traditionally celebrated
Thanksgiving, one hundred and fifty
people from seven countries gathered
at the Nazi death camp in Auschwitz,
Poland for five days of meditation and
reflection on the hon-ors of the
Holocaust. After appreciating
Auschwitz as the scene of perhaps the
greatest crime of the twentieth
century, this film demonstrates how
places like Auschwitz can become a
source for healing in our time and all
time to come. A poignant and
powerful testament to the resilience of
the human spirit.
