LOVER GIRL New Visions

Jake is a sixteen-year-old girl who likes candy
more than anything else. Abandoned by her mother and
turned away by her sister (Kristy Swanson), she is
stranded until a massage parlour operator (Sandra
Bernhard) takes her in. Before long, Jake is doling out
“massages” as part of the American Spa family of
women, which eventually comes to include her sister
too. Everyone’s lives have been transformed by Jake’s
beguiling presence; she is ultimately tom from all sides
by people who want her to be a daughter, a sister, a
lover.
