THE SOULER OPPOSITE New Visions

An engaging romantic comedy about an obscure
stand-up comedian whose life is turned upside down
when he falls head over heels for a young political
activist who is clearly in the “spiritual quest” mode. They
throw themselves into a psycho-sexual dance of high
intimacy, but when the relationship hits the rocks and the
activist hits the road with the 1992 Jerry Brown
presidential campaign, the comedian takes off in pursuit
of his “souler opposite”.
