SOUTHIE New Directions

A young man returns home to his South Boston roots after being
away from his family for three years. Although he has gotten his
life back together, he finds it hard to come back to the
temptations that forced him to leave in the first place. Donnie
Wahlberg, Rose McGowan, Anne Meara and Lawrence Tierney
make up a cast that deliver an acting punch not seen in many of
today’s dramatic features. And a tip of the hat to John Shea’s
experience as an actor in giving his direction the added emotion
which makes Southie a film to see on the big screen.
