IN THE REGION OF ICE AFI Conservatory Showcase

Based on a Joyce Carol Oates short story, this film explores the relationship between a brilliant but disturbed college student and the nun who is his English Literature teacher. Although she tries to help him alter his self-destructive ways, she is ultimately unable to change the course of their lives.
