Vera, a gifted young painter, finally gets the chance she’s been waiting for since art school: a meeting with a major gallery owner. Rummaging through her closet for the perfect outfit, Vera assesses the “vibe” of each dress and gets caught up in reminiscences of her past – memories of serious lovers, casual encounters, friends, jobs and family. Her introspection becomes layered, as flashbacks trigger further memories until Vera’s younger sister arrives with surprising news. Dealing with this new crisis, Vera is forced to confront a shattering memory of her older sister. With these unexpected revelations, Vera learns to accept herself and her past, ultimately renewing her artistic inspiration. Claudio Del Punta’s film is a humorous and insightful portrait of a young woman struggling for success as she struggles with her own self-image.
