ANITA TAKES A CHANCE, the latest film from veteran Catalan director Ventura Pons, is a thoughtful look at the perils and joys of one woman’s journey past the 50-year-old threshold. For 30 years, Anita has watched life pass her by from the safety of a local cinema ticket booth. But, one day, without warning, Anita loses her job and is suddenly thrust into the world outside the theater walls.
