Boy meets girl, boy gets girl, girl wonders why they’re together. In what maybe the first Serbian romantic comedy, two age-old questions are addressed: how to sustain a long-term relationship and how to, survive your best friend’s advice.

Belgrade 20-somethings Vlada and Irena repeatedly meet by chance leading to a night of passion and the start of a comfortable live-in relationship. Alas, after three years, the initial sparks hove faded and they realize they’re acting like “middle aged people.” Both know it’s’ time to decide if they will stay together forever or separate. Enter temptation – Vlada’s old flame Mario returns from New York to tantalize and confuse him, while a handsome stronger flirts with Irena.

Director Milos Petricic understands the complicated dynamics of both friendship and passion. With a sprightly sense of humor mixed with earnest romantic melodrama, he pays homage to Hollywood while. plotting his own unique path to the traditional happy ending.
