A cinematic meditation on the ritualized preparations of several young cowboys as they get ready for their rough stock events at an America rodeo, NO GRAY TWILIGHT was inspired by the city symphony films of the early 20th century, the backstage paintings of Degas and the Americana portrait photography of Avedon, Strand, Arbus and Mark.
