CONTINENTAL, A FILM WITHOUT GUNS International Feature Competition

A middle-aged man wakes up on an abandoned bus in the middle of the forest. He walks off the bus, disappears into the forest and is never seen or heard from again.

Louis, when asked why he is interested in taking the disappeared man’s job in insurance sales, replies, “I am looking for change.” Lucette, the missing man’s wife, posts signs on trees, as if she were trying to locate a lost cat. Chantal, a hotel receptionist, eaves messages for herself on her answering machine. And Marcel hits up his ex-wife for a loan in order to resume his gambling habit and make some quick cash for a new set of teeth.

One man disappears and four lives intertwine and change.
