SOUTHBOUND Midnight

Description

On a desert road, a series of characters are irrevocably changed when they encounter sinister forces: a pair of friends reel from the aftermath of a hit job gone wrong; three bandmates visit the home of a strange couple who seem to be hiding something; a man relies on help from 911 to save a woman hit by a car; a brother tries to save his missing sister; and a family is terrorized by masked assailants. Brought to you by some of the minds responsible for SOUTHBOUND, V/H/S and V/H/S/2, is a refreshing take on the horror anthology film, presenting a cohesive idea seamlessly sewn together from five distinctly different stories by four up-and-coming horror filmmaking talents. – Jenn Murphy

Bios

David Bruckner co-directed THE SIGNAL and directed segments of V/H/S.

Roxanne Benjamin, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon, has produced V/H/S, V/H/S/2 and FAULTS (AFI FEST 2014).

Radio Silence, the collective of California-based filmmakers Matt Bettinelli-Olpin, Tyler Gillett, Chad Villella and Justin Martinez, co-directed segments of V/H/S/2.  

Patrick Horvath co-directed ENTRANCE and THE PACT II.
