Bios

Shaz Bennett’s (AFI Directing Workshop for Women, Class of 2012) debut feature ALASKA IS A DRAG has won numerous awards in festivals. Bennett’s television writing credits include THE GLADES on A&E, UNREAL on Lifetime and BOSCH on Amazon. She recently directed an episode of season three of Ava Duvernay’s QUEEN SUGAR on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
