Kendell Courtney Klein (AFI Class of 2014) is drawn to biopics that explore misunderstood and forgotten figures. Since graduating from AFI, her screenplays have won the Grand Prize in the PAGE Awards, been honored in the Top 50 in the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship and been recognized by Tribeca, HUMANITAS, American Zoetrope, BlueCat, the Hamptons International Film Festival and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
