Bios

Carolina Markowicz is a screenwriter and director based in São Paulo, Brazil. She was one of the 10 emerging international filmmakers invited to be part of the Toronto International Film Festival 2015 Talent Lab, and was selected for the Berlinale 2018. ÓRFÃO (THE ORPHAN), her most recent short, premiered at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes.
