Agoraphobic Seconda’s life is about to change irrevocably. When her home life is suddenly upended, she must decide whether life outside of the apartment that she’s shared with her family will be forever unknown to her or if she can overcome her greatest fear and engage with the outside world. LOVE ME TENDER is anchored by lead actress Barbara Giordane is a wild tangle of hair, teeth and muscle in an intensely visceral and physical performance. Writer/director Klaudia Reynicke masterfully balances the real and the surreal, resulting in a stunning portrait of a non-conforming, eccentric young woman thrust out of her comfort zone .
