Visitors from across the nation gather at a sea of white flags to honor loved ones lost to COVID-19. As they mourn en masse, we witness their many expressions of loss and humanity.

Jamie Meltzer is a documentary filmmaker whose films have been broadcast nationally on PBS and screened at numerous film festivals worldwide, including Berlinale, SXSW, Tribeca, Hot Docs and DOC NYC. Previous films include HUNTSVILLE STATION (2020), TRUE CONVICTION (Independent Lens, 2018), INFORMANT (2012) and WELCOME TO NOLLYWOOD (PBS Broadcast, 2007).
