BONES AND ALL Special Screenings

BONES AND ALL

Screening to be followed by a conversation with director Luca Guadagnino and actor Taylor Russell.

BONES AND ALL, the newest film from Luca Guadagnino (CALL ME BY YOUR NAME, AFI FEST 2017), features a transfixing, award-winning breakout performance from Taylor Russell as teenager Maren who is constantly on the move with her single father Frank (André Holland). After a violent incident in their new town, Frank, unable to cope, abandons Maren, leaving her with only a cassette tape. Now alone in the world, she begins a solo cross-country venture to find her long-lost mother (Chloë Sevigny), whom she believes might hold some answers to her true nature. Maren soon meets the suspicious Sully (Mark Rylance), but skirts him after an evening of depravity, and then encounters Lee (Timothée Chalamet), who she bonds with over parental absences and traumatic loss, forging a romantic partnership steeped in crime. –Julia Kipnis
