In a special Spotlight section, AFI FEST honors Oscar®-nominated filmmaker and actress Greta Gerwig, who most recently directed and co-wrote the global cultural phenomenon, BARBIE and has selected five beloved big screen classics to share with AFI FEST audiences: ALL THAT JAZZ, AN AMERICAN IN PARIS, A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH, PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE and WINGS OF DESIRE. Films will screen throughout the festival, starting on Thursday, October 26 with PEE-WEE'S BIG ADVENTURE and A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH, both introduced by Gerwig.
