When a devoted Kenyan husband surprises his new Black American wife with an adorable kitten, neither are prepared for the destruction it wields upon their home, their life and ultimately their marriage.

Bryan Tucker is a three-time regional Emmy® Award-winning filmmaker who has worked on a wide range of documentary, nonprofit and commercial projects. His most recent short documentary FLAT TOWN was broadcast nationally on PBS’s REEL SOUTH.
Netsanet Tjirongo is an Emmy®-nominated writer, director, educator and community organizer born in apartheid southern Africa to an Ethiopian mother and Namibian father. Her work focuses on the intersection of gender, race and immigration status. She recently served on the Seattle Film Commission.
