TEXAS is an account of the courageous Amanda Zurawski who, with the support of Molly Duane and her team at the Center for Reproductive Rights, took her case to the Texas Supreme Court against staunch opponent Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. Zurawski’s public account of being denied a medically necessary abortion, nearly losing her life and potentially the ability to have children, becomes a rallying cry, connecting her with other women whose lives have been deeply affected by the unwillingness of the government to recognize abortion as health care.
