Jose, a Mexican in his mid-50’s, dedicates his life to taking care of his 90-year-old mother with late-stage Alzheimer’s.

Brenton Oechsle is an American cinematographer and award-winning filmmaker. His work has been featured in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Tribeca, Hollyshorts, Nowness and Austin Film Festival, where his short documentary SAFE PLACE, which he lensed and co-produced, received both the Grand Jury and Audience Awards for Best Short Documentary.
