PETRA AND THE SUN (PETRA Y EL SOL)

During a heavy snowmelt in the Andes, Petra discovers the perfectly preserved corpse of a lost mountaineer — bringing him to her wooden chalet and sparking an unexpected romantic story.

Malu Furche is a Chilean writer and screenwriter who holds an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University. Her previous film and television work includes STEALING RODIN, ZANDER and BITTER GOLD. She is also the author of “Heat Islands,” a book of short stories.

Stefania Malacchini is an economist specializing in arts, culture and communication, and an editor of texts and books. She has dedicated her parallel career to screenwriting and has been part of the screenwriting team for several television series for children and teenagers. Currently, Malacchini is writing her first nonfiction book.
