Once born from the same matter, two forms slowly grow into different beings, suspended between attraction and resistance. Intimacy becomes an unstable state where closeness and individuality struggle to coexist.

Bios

Shiyu (Shino) Tang is an independent animation director originally from China. She earned her MFA from CalArts Experimental Animation Program, and her films have been showcased internationally at festivals including Annecy and POFF. Focusing on social phenomena and female perspectives, Shiyu’s work delves into the intricacies of our emotions and human relationships.
