A Love Song For Latasha is a dreamlike archive in conversation with the past and the present to reimagine a more nuanced narrative of Latasha Harlins by excavating intimate and poetic memories shared by her cousin and best friend.

Sophia Nahli Allison is an experimental documentary filmmaker, photographer and dreamer. She has been an artist-in-residence at The MacDowell Colony, The Center for Photography at Woodstock, a 3Arts Fellow at The Camargo Foundation and POV Spark’s African Interactive Art Residency. She received an MA in visual communication from UNC.
